What are OPTIONS Additional Modules?
OPTIONS offers a comprehensive selection of additional modules, which are fully integrated with the standard system, and which may be supplied with, or subsequent to, an OPTIONS installation.
These additional modules reflect specific operational procedures, some of which are particular to certain forms of trade and market sectors, and others, with a broader base are used to enhance the standard system procedures.
AVS and CV2
AVS and CV2 are managed by the UK banking system and offer greater credit card security through card holder address verification (AVS) and card value verification (CV2). Both measures assist users in reducing losses through credit/debit card fraud.
Bar Coding on Despatch
Enables orders and consignment numbers to be scanned into OPTIONS to speed up the despatching process. This has particular value in high volume despatching environments.
Cheque Printing
Enables the production of cheques from OPTIONS for payment of refunds and miscellaneous credits.
Continuities
Used for selling series or related products over user defined time periods. Payment methods include invoicing, perpetual credit card charging and installment payments. Supports cash posting by cheque and credit card, and the production of dunning letters.
Courier Interfaces
OPTIONS Courier Interfaces post OPTIONS despatches to couriers’ systems for consignment tracking.
Credit Card Security
OPTIONS Credit Security supports advanced credit card fraud prevention through maintaining user defined perceived risk profiles associated with each and every credit card transaction.
CTI (Computer-Telephony Integration)
Full CTI enables users to identify customers and access their customer accounts with speed and accuracy offering advanced customer service levels.
Loyalty Schemes
Supports the set-up of user defined loyalty programmes, including specification of qualifying terms, redemption values, bonus points, conditions etc.
On-Pack Bar Coding
Minimises warehouse picking and subsequent packing errors by scanning order items as they are packed.
PAF - Postcode Address File
Enables speedy and accurate address entry and customer search functionality.
Retail Interfaces
Manages the two-way exchange of information between OPTIONS and Eurostop retail systems to maintain product consistency between the two operational areas, smooth inventory, and manage stock transfers etc.
Subscriptions
Used for defining regular and occasional subscription payments to clubs, newsletters etc.
Qualified by geographic region, frequency of subscription and issues, number of free issues etc.
Two-Way Internet Interfaces
Facilitates the two-way exchange of information between web sites and OPTIONS.
• Import to OPTIONS of sales orders, catalogue requests and customer information. • Export from OPTIONS of product data, order statuses, stock levels, promotions etc.
The timing of imports and exports are determined by user defined schedules operating at the transactional level, which reflect the user’s specific trading patterns.
Credit/Debit card charging on web sites is managed through OPTIONS. OPTIONS requires no modifications to the users web site design.
